Measurement Incorporated’s (MI) Scoring Managers direct and coordinate project activities for performance assessment hand-scoring efforts, including working with project staff across departments, providing guidance to seasonal scoring staff, assisting and communicating with our clients, and monitoring contract requirements and costs. Scoring Managers also assist in rangefinding activities and item evaluation processes with clients and scoring leadership members.
Salary Range: $48,000 to $50,000

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Determining staffing needs to fulfill contract and project timelines, requirements, and specifications
Resolving complaints, mediating disputes, and providing guidance for seasonal scoring staff
Assisting and collaborating with key personnel in the Scoring Department, MI’s project management, administration teams, and financial services teams to ensure contract requirements are met
Communicating with clients and monitoring scoring contract requirements, progress, and issues
Traveling to meetings and sites throughout a project’s planning, implementation, and duration
Overseeing rangefinding and item evaluation processes, including developing and refining scoring criteria in cooperation with the client
Approving all training materials and assisting in the development and QA of training lessons
Selecting and supervising scoring staff and evaluating scoring staff performance
Developing and maintaining project documentation
REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor’s degree is required
Minimum of 5 years of hand-scoring experience
Minimum of 3 years of hand-scoring experience in a leadership role on Mathematics projects
Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
Must be highly adaptable and self-motivated
High proficiency with MS Office Suite and general computer skills
