Network Engineer

Measurement Incorporated’s Network Engineers perform various analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution tasks to address issues related to firewalls, load balancers, switches, routers, and wireless access points. Additionally, our Network Engineers perform similar analysis, troubleshooting, maintenance, and resolution to virtualization, Active Directory, SANs, and Windows servers. Measurement Incorporated’s Network Engineers need the following qualifications to be successful in this role:

Required Technical Knowledge and Professional Experience:

  • Ability to work independently under remote management in an IT Setting
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and act with appropriate urgency
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with general infrastructure gear including:
    • Cisco routers and WAPs
    • F5
    • Extreme Networks
    • Palo Alto
    • Check Point
    • HP ProCurve
    • NetApp
    • Brocade
    • APC
  • Knowledge of all current Microsoft Server operating systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot web application issues in IIS
  • Office 365/Exchange 2013/Azure
  • VMware vSphere

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • 5 or more years of experience in an IT Setting
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Relevant certifications and/or education preferred
